I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to look at a mini- wheel of colby jack cheese the same way ever again. Which is most interesting since that has been Elaina's cheese-of-choice for her lunch sandwiches.
A few weeks back, Lincoln was on a snack spree and wanted to graze on snack food for what seemed to be most of the day. While the rest of the family was in the other room, he helped himself to his snack-of-choice for that moment. I walked into the kitchen to find my precocious little man sitting at the kitchen table chomping on the entire slab of cheese slices, fresh from the deli. Bite mark after bite mark from every angle.
I'm pretty sure he got his requirement of calcium that day.
